ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE

The devil wears Prada and so do I, it’s very rare that you see either one of us cry, that little red strip is the thin line, I know he’s not going to let you cross his so I can’t let you cross mine

Double souls are my favorite kind, they give me a different perspective because I’m 6′ 4″ when I wear mine, funny enough they look like ninja boots for a suit, but the leather insoles and flat bottoms keep me steady when I shoot hoops or drive coups

You ever had that one that you can’t get over, the more they beat you up the more you try to get closer, it’s like they have a Svengali hold over your very soul, you’re dealing with a master of strings, they have long evolved from the pinky ring

You make a mistake it’s a declaration of war, they make a mistake you getting up off the floor, I didn’t  think you majored in indentured servitude, I thought you were on some Elroy Jetson shit trying to get to the moon, I don’t care what color it is don’t let that black hole stop you, I’m not a rocket scientist but I know love’s not supposed to sock you, but ultimately it is your life to live, I just hope you don’t lose it just to find out somebody had fux to give

When I met you I had a ace showing trying to flip a queen, the deck was stacked already but to me yet to be seen, it took me awhile to realize who was really dealing, I got a icebox no room for feelings, I split the cards doubled down and tried to play two hands, the look on your face should have told me that I really didn’t understand, I put everything on the line based on one card flip, I mean I bet the farm it was going to be glory or hardship, I thought the bluff was working we were at a two-year stalemate, unbenounced to me she knew the flip hoping I would cooperate, NOPE… all nuts no brain, when she flipped that card I was not prepared for what came, my baby took me clean out the door, that card hit the table like she been training with Thor, I immediately started doing math, I just lost everything and still owe half
